This little blue eyed cutie took advantage of the Valentine's Flash Session. He was such a happy baby and we were able to get quite a few good shots in 15 minutes! And since I love conversation hearts I thought it would be fun to couple each photo with a Valentine-y saying!

After recently completing my little guy's first year I have been reflecting on my year of motherhood. I can't tell you how much I love being a mom! And as I was trying to put together a slideshow of pictures for my son's first birthday I realized I was missing from a lot of his pictures. That isn't because I wasn't there-- but rather it was because I was behind the camera taking the pictures! That made me think about my role as a mother and how much of it occurs "behind the scenes." That is why I LOVED this photoshoot soooooo much. Here is a mom who was brave enough to take four kids to Hawaii by herself and be so stoked about it. She is one of my "mom idols!" When I grow up I want to be a mom like her. I can't figure out how she can clean her whole house, play chauffeur, host preschool, play dolls, read stories, carry out short-order cook duties and still have time to scrapbook, take girls trips, help friends in need and so much more. She makes all of this look easy. So we started out with a photoshoot for her kids, but had to make sure she got in a few photos too.

What is a FLASH SESSION you ask? It's a super short and low priced photo session perfect for capturing holiday fun. So whatever your Valentine's Day style is, a photoshoot is always a good way to capture it!

Saturday February 5th 12-3pm
Flash Sessions run 15 minutes total
$30 (for up to two people in photo- add $10 for each additional person)
1 4x6 of your favorite picture with a "Happy Valentine's Day" message and envelope
