Happy Halloween!

For some reason Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love thinking up fun costumes then trying to make them. This year my son really got into the spirit of his costume. Can we say attitude?!!

I hope you have a spooktacular evening!!

More of the J. Family

M.J. told me that she wanted family photos by (and possibly in) the water. We found this gorgeous place and had a great photosession. The time flew by as these cute twinners flashed their darling smiles.

This is my favorite photo from our session. I loved that the girls were literally running circles around their parents and they loved every second of it!

It was such a beautiful day.

You can tell house much the J. parents love these little girls.

They are going to be in trouble when these girls are old enough to date!! They are so pretty!

Of course we took a lot more but these were a few of my favs. Thanks J. Family!

Strike a Pose!

For many photosessions I have Madonna's song "Vogue" running through my head and it's all I can do to stop myself from blurting out, "Strike a Pose!!" But I think everyone should be able to have a little fun during their session and enjoy a their model moment. I love this family and we had so much fun on their photosession. Here's just a sneak peek of their "Strike a Pose" moment!

S. and R.

I had the pleasure of taking photos of R. when he was a baby, but he has grown A LOT since then!! I love the little freckles sprinkled across his cheeks. And S. is still as gorgeous as ever with her big smile. Here are a few photos from our session (sorry they are so big, I was having some technical issues).

More of the M. Family

Here are a few more pics of the M. family. I feel so lucky to have been able to photography this amazing family. They really are an example of faith and patience. And in addition that they have some ridiculously cute boys!

J. posted this quote on her blog and I really liked it.
"...Patience is not passive resignation, nor is it failing to act because of our fears. Patience means active waiting and enduring. It means staying with something and doing all that we can—working, hoping, and exercising faith; bearing hardship with fortitude, even when the desires of our hearts are delayed. Patience is not simply enduring; it is enduring well! Patience is a godly attribute that can heal souls, unlock treasures of knowledge and understanding, and transform ordinary men and women into saints and angels. Patience is truly a fruit of the Spirit."
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

This is W. who has some sweet curly hair and is my hero as he has been battling cancer for over a year.

This is C. who wouldn't smile when I asked him to do it for the ladies! But I eventually got a few chuckles out of him.

You may think you are seeing double in the next two but these boys are twinners!

I wish I could tell you if this was N. or C. but I can't keep them straight-especially when they aren't holding perfectly still.

And let's not forget little S. He may be the baby of the family but he has some serious spunk.

Thanks M. family for being such an inspiration.

The C. Family

We had so much fun during this photosession. The little girls kept getting the giggles and I couldn't help but laugh along. I really liked their clothing choices. They all coordinated but weren't matchy-matchy. I had a hard time picking my favorites because there were so many, but here are a few:

C. was hilarious. When it was his turn he stood right up and started posing. He's going to stun the ladies in a few years!
