Sweet Baby B.
Can I just take a second to say I love my job. How could I not? I get to work with so many amazing people and snuggle with cute little babies like sweet baby B. She is darling and was such a trooper. Here are a few of my favorite images:

C. Family Sealing
Six months ago I had the pleasure of photographing the C. Family soon after they adopted a sweet baby girl (http://www.sharliezphotography.com/2011/12/more-of-c-family.html). And last week I was so excited to photograph them again on their special day. Baby L's adoption was finalized and they were able to be sealed to her for all eternity-- what an amazing day! Here are some of my favorites from their special day:

Thank You and Happy New Year!!
As we embark upon a new year I have been reflecting on the events of 2011. This past year has been amazing in so many ways. I wanted to take some blog space to thank all of you who have supported me and my photography business this year. I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of new and wonderful people as well as enjoy the company of old friends and repeat customers. I truly feel blessed to know all of you. Thank you for making my year one to remember. I can't wait to see what next year brings.

Meet the C. Family. They just received a new addition to their family (a just over 4lb 13 oz baby girl!). Hooray!!!

You may remember sweet Baby E from a previous shoot. Here are some update photos from this mini-session. I just can't get enough of these big eyes. He is such a sweetie and loved to reach out his arms and smile.
Be My Valentine
This little blue eyed cutie took advantage of the Valentine's Flash Session. He was such a happy baby and we were able to get quite a few good shots in 15 minutes! And since I love conversation hearts I thought it would be fun to couple each photo with a Valentine-y saying!

Lighting Test
While I prefer doing outdoor shots (because of all of our gorgeous surroundings and how candid it makes the pictures look and feel), I do occasionally do indoor shots. I have a shoot coming up where the family wanted a very specific feel and look. I wanted to do a test shot to make sure I knew exactly what she wanted beforehand, and I had the perfect model! It worked out great and I can't wait to shoot the W. family after getting such cute shots of my little stud!
Baby Blue Eyes
Baby R has the most amazing blue eyes. And his cute toothless grin is so endearing. Don't you just love babies?
Happy Half Birthday Baby T!
There are never enough reasons to spend an hour or so photographing a baby. They are so sweet and I just love taking pictures of them. These are Baby T's six month shots.
