I just had to post this photo I took this week of my mom. I hope I look this gorgeous when I am her age!

I had the opportunity to do a mini-session with J. She is gorgeous and talented to boot. Just take a look at this image!
She also has a fun humorous side and I couldn't help but laugh along with her looking at this photo.
LOVE this one!!

I thought I would take a few lines to do some cross promotion too. She is an amazing Interior Designer (working on Nick Lachey's home and also a salon in Caesar's Palace), and she does hair and make-up on the side. So check out her blog and if you are in So. Cal give her a jingle:
I find that so often I'm busy taking photos of other people's families that I sometimes neglect my own. Sure I always have a small point and shoot camera on hand for the candids but I realized recently it had been a long time since I had taken a portrait of my husband. And even though he was totally ok with the lapse, I wanted to snap a few of him. I just have to say, sorry ladies, but he is all mine!!
Check back soon for more photos of this pretty lady...
This photosession came about because these two brothers are both leaving home.
This O. Boy is about to leave on a
LDS mission to Brazil.

And this O. Boy just graduated High School and is going to be heading up to BYU in the fall.

So before they left of course their mother scheduled a photosession and they were such a pleasure to work with.

They are both awesome cello players and I was treated to a mini-concert while I was taking their photos. I didn't want it to end! So talented!

And we have to give them congrats for both being Eagle Scouts!

You guys were awesome. Good luck on your future endeavors!
As soon as A. had a date set to get her braces off her mom scheduled a photoshoot. What a fun way to celebrate a new smile. And what a pretty smile A. has. In fact it was hard to get her to do anything but smile! ;) And why not-- when you've waited 2 years to show your gorgeous grill I think smiling is just the thing to do! So we took lots of close-ups (and a few others) to capture her post-braces grill!

I know this photo isn't of her smile but I LOVED her cute shoes!!
These kids were so full of life and personality. We had a superfun photoshoot and just barely missed some rain!

Isn't K. gorgeous?
I love how K. has such a funky sense of style.

B. is little face maker and full of life!
Little L. has the sweetest eyes!
I love this pic because it shows their personalities. You can tell who rules the roost!!
Here's a sneak peak of E's gorgous photoshoot.
There will be more to come...

For the past year and a half my good friend K. has been such an inspiration to me and all those around her. She made a decision to adapt a healthier lifestyle and through diet and exercise she lost over 80 lbs!
And I'm sure that if you asked her if it was easy to do she would just laugh!!!
And while we had a lot of fun on this photoshoot, K. is now raising money to go towards something that is no laughing matter. Diabetes is something that plagues our country, and K. is going to ride 50 miles in the Napa Valley Tour de Cure to help raise money for the fight against diabetes.
I wanted to help her out in her quest and put a link here where you can donate towards her cause:
Any amount of contribution would help towards her goal and would make her happy and give her fuel to finish the race! Thank you and good luck K.!
Here's one of this brave soldier. I will have more of him and his family coming soon...
Last year I had the privilege of shooting E. and her family. I love having the opportunity to shoot E. again and we wanted to go for a feel that was dramatically different than our shoot last year. We started out this photoshoot with the intent to copy the black clothing/black background concept I have done previously with some other clients (which E. and her mom loved). And of course E. looked fabulous!

I think she looks like a younger, and much prettier Leona Lewis.
But then E. added a splash of color and our photoshoot transformed into something amazing! The red was so vibrant against the black background I couldn't get enough.
Love this shot.
And you remember this one from the Sneak Peak. I had to post it again because she is just so stunning.
And then the green hat came on and there was something magical about the green hat: it brought out the many different faces of E. and I had to capture them all.

I can't tell you how much I love shoots with laugh, smiles, funny faces and sheer beauty.
...Of this photoshoot with this amazingly gorgeous gal. Stay tuned for more.
This husband and wife CEO team needed some headshots for magazine write-up. They wanted a black background and look like they feel right at home in front of the camera. Can't wait to see these in print!
