Welcome

The Beautiful E.

I was so excited to do a shoot with E. She always dresses in the brightest colors which is great for photos. Since it has been raining outside (I'm seriously ready for it to stop!!) we decided to do an indoor shoot. I wanted each photo to be simple in arrangement so that all the focus was on E. She is a beautiful woman inside and out and I think these pictures captured the sheer happiness she constantly exudes.

Thanks E!!

Sneak Peak of E.

Here's a sneak peak of E's gorgous photoshoot.

There will be more to come...

Spring is almost here!

And you know what that means????

It's time to take a family photo!! Especially if your last family photo looks something like this:

Or like this!!

(Thank you www.awkwardfamilyphotos.com for these awesome photos!)

Springtime is the perfect time to update your family photo. There are a few benifits to taking a family photo in the spring:

1. Retail stores are selling their best dressy attire (in all sizes). They especially like to make little kids clothes that coordinate and match the adult clothes (I love that they are photography minded in their marketing!). And you may be buying all new clothes anyway for Easter so why not get the cute new outfits on documented at a photoshoot?

2. Mother Nature makes the world beautiful and in bloom. Spring is my favorite time around here. There is bright green grass all around and it's one of the only times you can see flowers sprouting up. This makes for perfect outdoor photographs!

My spring schedule is already starting to fill up. If you are interested in booking a shoot don't delay! Click Here to contact me by email.

Clovers

This morning I did a St. Patrick's Day shoot. And while you are sitting there thinking about the craziness of a St. Patrick's Day photoshoot consider these questions:

1. On the actual day do you dress in green and make sure your kids dress in green?

2. Do you go around pinching people who are not wearing green?

3. Do you prepare or eat green food (or at least a bowl of Lucky Charms)?

4. Do you secretly try to look for a rainbow and wish you could find the pot of gold at the end?

5. Have you ever gone on a Leprechaun hunt?

6. Have you always wanted to say, "Kiss me, I'm Irish"?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions-- you have a little bit of St. Patrick's Day spirit. And what better way to capture that spirit than a photoshoot? This is one day of the year when it's easy being green.

And as if it was an omen, while doing our photoshoot today we found a little patch of clovers close by. I'd say it was the luck of the Irish!! You will have to wait for the St. Patty's day photos but here are a few of the clovers we found. I wanted to stay and look for a 4 leaf one so I would have an official Shamrock-- but I fear that would have taken forever! So instead I snapped a few pictures for you to enjoy!

"For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way -
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day."

For A Good Cause

For the past year and a half my good friend K. has been such an inspiration to me and all those around her. She made a decision to adapt a healthier lifestyle and through diet and exercise she lost over 80 lbs!

And I'm sure that if you asked her if it was easy to do she would just laugh!!!

And while we had a lot of fun on this photoshoot, K. is now raising money to go towards something that is no laughing matter. Diabetes is something that plagues our country, and K. is going to ride 50 miles in the Napa Valley Tour de Cure to help raise money for the fight against diabetes.

I wanted to help her out in her quest and put a link here where you can donate towards her cause:

Any amount of contribution would help towards her goal and would make her happy and give her fuel to finish the race! Thank you and good luck K.!
